Craniosacral Therapy Coming Nov 2024
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a type of bodywork that relieves muscle and joint tightness around the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column.
CST is noninvasive. It uses gentle pressure on the head, neck, and back to relieve the stress and pain caused by musculoskeletal tightness. It can, as a result, help to treat a number of conditions.
It’s thought that through the gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis, the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the central nervous system can be normalized.
Thai Massage - Coming 2025
Thai yoga massage is a combination of acupressure, asanas (yoga poses), stretching, palming, thumbing, and gentle twisting. Practitioners use palms, thumbs, forearms, knees, and feet during sessions for muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure. Thai yoga massage enables your body to relax and recharge.
Thai yoga massage is an Eastern form of therapy that has a deeply holistic approach and believes that in the human body, energies flow along a network of channels or lines similar to nadis in India or ‘meridians’ in China.

In Traditional Chinese medicine
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine where a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. The idea is to draw blood to or away from parts of your body. People get it for many reasons, such as pain and inflammation relief, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Reflexology
More on Reflexology
Who doesn’t like a good foot massage?! Whether it be for relaxation or therapeutic purposes, most people’s feet could use some attention. Foot massage can be done with or without Reflexology.
Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. It may provide pain and stress relief, among other benefits.
Reflexology is based on the theory that your hands, feet, and ears are connected to certain organs and body systems. People who practice this technique are called reflexologists
In Traditional Chinese medicine
Reflexology rests on the ancient Chinese belief in qi (pronounced “chee”), or “vital energy.” According to this belief, qi flows through each person. When a person feels stressed, their body blocks qi.
This can cause an imbalance in the body that leads to illness. Reflexology aims to keep qi flowing through the body, keeping it balanced and disease free.
In Chinese medicine, different body parts correspond with different pressure points on the body. Reflexologists use maps of these points in the feet, hands, and ears to determine where they should apply pressure.
They believe their touch sends energy flowing through a person’s body until it reaches the area in need of healing.
